Lathe Cut Solutions - providing quality, no frills, short run lathe cut vinyl records

Hello, I have been making bespoke lathe cut records professionally for over a decade, and am pleased to extend this service to a select number of independent labels and artists.

In order to keep prices as low as possible, and operationally viable, please understand it's necessary to maintain a fairly rigid ordering process - thank you for your patience and understanding:

1 - CHECK AVAILABILITY If your order is time sensitive please make CONTACT to discuss your pre-order/release dates before ordering.

2 - TEST CUTS  If you want to check how your record will sound, please order a test cut first. Lathe cut records are an excellent way to provide small runs of records that pressing plants can't provide. However, for a variety of reasons the quality may not be at audiophile level, so it is important to understand the limitations. There are NO RETURNS ON PRODUCTS.

3 - AUDIO FILES  After placing an order, send individual tracks, renamed A1, A2, B1, B2 etc (to correspond with track running order). If you have precise requirements for the timing between tracks, send as one continuous track per side, with a note to let me know where the visual track cues should be. Most file types are accepted. Your tracks will be mastered for the vinyl lathe cut. Due to cost and time constraints, this is a 'one size fits all' mastering solution applied to all audio to reduce potential cutting problems.

4 - ARTWORK - CENTRE LABELS  After placing an order, send images for Side A and Side B - either round, or square and it'll be placed in the round template for you. Most file types are accepted, ensure a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Extend the background beyond the edges to avoid important details being cropped. If you require blank white labels, or no label attached, just let me know your requirements. Due to cost and time constraints it's not possible to provide artwork proofs.

5 - ARTWORK - PRINTED OUTER SLEEVE (if required)  After placing an order, send 2 square images labelled 'Front' and 'Back'. Most file types are accepted, ensure a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Extend the background beyond the edges to avoid important details being cropped. Due to cost and time constraints it's not possible to provide artwork proofs.

6 - SENDING FILES  Compress all the files into one ZIP file, then email using a file transfer site, e.g. Wetransfer.com to [email protected] - I'll confirm receipt of the files, let you know everything is ready to go, and give an estimate of your delivery time.

Please note, orders may take several weeks to complete (or longer), depending on demand at the time. This is a time consuming process, so it is not always possible to process orders quickly, especially at times of high demand (e.g. November and December). It's always best to plan ahead with time senstive releases, so make sure you confirm availability before ordering.
